Seit vielen Jahren veranstaltet GUE-NGL jährliche Treffen mit REALPE, dem europäischen Netzwerk fortschrittlicher lokal gewählter Vertreterinnen und Vertreter. Jedes Jahr wächst und wächst diese Initiative. Im vergangenen Jahr konzentrierten sich die Teilnehmer*innen auf EU-Regional- und Strukturfonds sowie den Zugang zu öffentlichen Dienstleistungen.
Auch 2019 wird es eine Konferenz mit REALPE treffen, um wichtige Themen zu diskutieren: Diesmal wird es um Fragen rund um das Thema Wohnen und Spekulationen, soziale Ungleichheit in Städten und progressive Konzepte des Umgangs mit diesen Herausforderungen gehen.

Mit wem? GUE/NGL-Fraktion im Europaparlament u. a. mit Gabi Zimmer (Fraktionsvorsitzende GUE/NGL), Martina Michels (MdEP), Katalin Gennburg (MdA Berlin) ...
Ziel ist es natürlich auch wie immer, die Vernetzung dieser politisch Aktiven zu unterstützen, um angesichts der neoliberalen Politik des Wettbewerbs von Dienstleistungen und Völkern eine echte Alternative in Europa zu schaffen.
Daher sind in begrenztem Umfang und bei rechtzeitiger Anmeldung Reisekostenzuschüsse möglich.
